🔍 What does 40H mean?

When your scooter shows Error Code 40H, it indicates:

The controller is not receiving data from the display

In simple terms:
👉 The controller is not getting signals from the display

(Opposite of 07H: display not receiving data from controller)

⚠️ Common Causes

1️⃣ Connection issue (most common)

• Display cable is loose
• Connector not fully inserted

2️⃣ Damaged cable

• Internal wire break
• Cable pinched or pulled
• Bent connector pins

3️⃣ Moisture or water ingress

• Affects signal transmission

4️⃣ Display failure

• Display cannot send data

5️⃣ Controller issue (rare)

• Controller communication module failure

🛠️ Troubleshooting Steps

✅ Step 1: Restart the scooter

• Turn off the scooter
• Wait 10 seconds and turn it back on

✅ Step 2: Check the cable connection

• Locate the display cable
• Unplug and reconnect it
• Ensure it is fully inserted

✅ Step 3: Inspect the cable

Check for:

• Damage
• Pinching
• Loose or deformed connectors

✅ Step 4: Check for moisture

• Look for water or humidity
• Dry completely before testing

✅ Step 5: Identify possible cause

👉 If it works after reconnecting
→ Likely a loose connection

→ Possible:
